This feature class was developed primarily in support of the County's parcel mapping needs which include assessment functions, spatial analysis and cartographic output. This feature class differs from the TaxParcel feature class in that it contains overlapping polygons on parcels where there is more than one PIN (e.g. building condos). The geometry of each PIN is not represented, rather the exterior KeyPIN geometry is replicated once for every PIN. This feature class is thus a more appropriate one to use when attempted to select (or geocode) parcels by PIN. |
